Paul Belshaw, MSCTA
Owner & Managing Principal
Paul began working in tax and accounting through the VITA program at Rutgers University in 1978. Today, he leads Belshaw Accounting and works directly with business owners on accounting, tax, and business decisions. Paul believes numbers should tell you something useful, not simply sit in a report. His job is also to make sure clients are supported by a firm, not dependent on one person.

Eliane brings more than 15 years of tax experience to Belshaw Accounting. As co-owner, she supports the firm's tax work and helps make sure clients receive careful, responsive service throughout the year. Her role is part of what makes BATS a team-based firm rather than an accounting practice built around one individual.

Senior Tax Professional
With approximately 40 years of tax experience, Gene is one of the most seasoned members of the BATS team. He brings decades of practical experience to tax preparation and works with the rest of the BATS team to help clients navigate their tax filing needs. Gene's experience adds another layer of knowledge and continuity to the firm, helping ensure clients are supported by a team rather than depending on one person.

Senior Bookkeeper
Edlyn supports BATS clients with day-to-day bookkeeping and account management. She helps keep financial records organized, current, and ready for the tax and planning work that follows. That connection matters: better books create better tax returns and better business decisions.

Executive Assistant
Hannah helps keep BATS organized behind the scenes. She coordinates client workflows, supports our processes in TaxDome, and helps make sure information gets to the right person and work keeps moving. Her role gives clients another important point of support within the firm.

Operations & Digital Support
Belinda supports BATS operations and the firm's digital systems and website. She helps keep the firm's online presence and internal support work organized so the rest of the team can stay focused on serving clients.
